So if you're in for a change, you can always go for a sunny day in Michigan. However, farming sturgeon in Cali will get boring after a while. There are fish with better XP and cash value in the game, but it takes a lot longer to fill your net with those. From then on, you can just go on for hours and hours, and fill your net in 2 in-game hours max. It costs you 1 baitcoin to get to the second night, and skip the cooldown timer once. Plus, you can get heavier bottom than match rods, and get the fish out of the water a little quicker.Īll things considered, sturgeon in Cali is indeed the best money & xp farm. ![]() I'd also recommend using a bottom rod nowadays, as I get the impression that they bite a little quicker on that. Just to make it clear my strategy is kinda abusing the foward skip, start at 900pm cast out 4 heavy bottoms, catch 2-3 sturgeon, jump on my boat so I dont have to reel in my extra lines, hop back on shore skip 2 hours, repeat. You'll find some more if you search for "sturgeon california" on youtube. Again unless I'm missing something point it out, or is this the most efficient way? Unless I'm missing something I figured you can constantly get xp with no waiting around for bites etc, I know you get way more xp and cash for unique carp and such but there's the cooldown timer that messes that strategy up. Call me crazy but after testing stuff out I feel like sturgeon at cali is still the best way to go(I just got to 55 so no south america yet). So after watching videos and reading guides for the best spot to grind, I've been wondering how fish respawn time and hourly catch limits work in different places. ![]()
